What makes an alpine secret?
Surely in high season there is really no secret as all alpine accommodation
is usually sold and that accommodation in winter is hard to find. So in high
season lets agree to agree and state that there are no if any alpine
secrets. But first lets define what we mean by an alpine secret. By this we
mean that the alpine destination concerned is not on the "A" list. That
means it is not a Zermatt, Chamonix, Verbier, Kitzbuhel or Courmayeur. It
probably would not make the "B" list either. These are resorts you probably
have never heard of or,have heard of only as a satellite or subtext to an
